Two AlumNode community members, Julia Belyaeva & Michal Jex, are holding a three-day online workshop from November 8 to November 10, 2021. They are happy to invite young researchers in nonlinear and kinetic equations, quantum mechanics, analytical and numerical methods for many body systems to take part in the workshop. Please Join!
Schedule
- Day 1, Everyone will have an opportunity to present their own research or area of interest in a short 5-min presentation.
- Day 2 and 3 of the program are complemented by two lectures followed by discussion:
Mathematical Models of High Temperature Plasma by A.L. Skubachevskii (RUDN University)
Mathematics of Covid Pandemic by W. Jaeger (Heidelberg University).
The main goal of the workshop is to share research experience and knowledge within the framework of PDEs (partial differential equations).
One-on-one talks between participants willl take part in programme on day 2 and 3, where we will make use of unique options provided by an online environment. We will randomly assign participants to rooms where they will have the opportunity to discuss their research with their peers. Each day will be concluded by informal discussions on various topics.
The number of participants is limited to 30. Registration is mandatory and the workshop is free. Questions on the workshop can be sent to: owpde2021@gmail.com
