Check out the new blog article by Katie Steckles, where she looks at an ingenious solution to a curious mathematics puzzle.

Those who deal with mathematics know that it can at times feel almost magical. This week’s post in the HLFF Blog, courtesy of Katie Steckles, takes inspiration from a magician who poses an interesting conundrum – how does one fit a square block of wood in a rectangular cloth bag to have it fully cover the square? The solution is quite ingenious and, as always, allows for an interesting exploration of the underlying mathematical concepts.
