Can IoT deliver on its promises for an agricultural revolution?

We may be on the cusp of a new agricultural revolution, with a transition of farming from a mechanical industry to a digital, cyber-physical ecosystem. This new era aims to leverage the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and Big Data to optimize biological systems with algorithmic precision.

But as promising as the science and technology are, this revolution is not a clean upgrade, and the farm reality is often messy.
